Something changed for me when I started this challenge. I’m doing something I have never done before and it’s working! I started to LOVE my body! I started to do positive affirmations. I’ve heard from 3 people that I look thinner and I look great since I started! I am exuding more confidence and more energy.The negative self talk keep us stuck in a spiral of negative energy and everything has an energy to it. Even our thoughts and beliefs. I’ve also been doing visualization exercises with loving gratitude for my healthy fit and lean body. I’ve done this with many other aspects in my life with success but never with my body and health. It works!!! It’s been just over a week and I feel incredible!!

I joined this group looking for Hope. I’ve been struggling with my Diabetes for many many months. My numbers were creeping into the 300’s. So I was put on insulin last July (which I was not happy about) but it did lower the numbers. I then started eating what I thought was pretty clean eating. Was told my endocrinologist that in order to get off insulin I needed to lose 30. Then was told by my PCP that it would be very difficult to lose on insulin. I didn’t know where to turn to. I saw the 21 day challenge and thought I’ll give it a try. I did it without cheating on the plan. The recipes were delicious. I had amazing results. Down 12.2 and about 8”. I feel so much better and I found the hope to continue on this path. Thank you Kelly Dunlap!

Omg. That video totally spoke to me today!! I have done a lot of work with my values over the time working with u and I had a huge break through today. I had a trip planned to go to an all inclusive resort in Mexico over new year's eve. The over drinking and over eating just isn't who I wanna be anymore. So I spoke with my friend and we r going to Sedona to hike instead. I am loving the new me. And I am trying To honor her. Â During the video I actually teared up because I cant Believe how far I've come In the last 5 months. So thank you. And ladies she knows what she's talking about!

I feel that Kelly's coaching and the MRA program is the best out there by far. She teaches so much more than just fat and weight loss. I think that the weekly one-on-one calls were very informative and helpful. I love the way that Kelly holds me accountable for what I am doing. It made me want to follow through even if sometimes I really didn't want to. Kelly always had answers for my questions and had good suggestions for me.

My big take away has been to keep it simple. I’ve come across so many fad diets that recommend x or y, but this actually works. I’ve had more veg and a lot less processed baked goods and sugar. I’ve really enjoyed the recipes, as have my family. I will see how my measurements compare next week, but I feel less bloated and I’ve been going to the loo more regularly!

"But if you really, truly want to change in any area of your life, first you must DECIDE that there isn't another option." That’s how I felt before starting this challenge, like I didn’t have any other option for myself. It didn’t matter that it was during the holiday season I need to dive in and do this now. I couldn’t stay on the roller coaster ride I was on any longer. So grateful for this!

Feeling grateful for the support of Kelly and this group. Besides losing the belly bloat, the most important NSV has been looking deeply into my habits and seeing patterns and old behaviors. It’s time for change. My weekend commitment to myself is to continue to avoid alcohol and snacks (2 significant struggles).

So many wins! Lost a few pounds but more importantly have cut out my sugary desserts, tried some new recipes, have lifted heavier weights and actually did lunges without knee pain. Also have done a lot of reflection on triggers for my “bad habits” ( my phone!) and have put in some changes to make it harder, less fun to be on it.

Since starting activate 21 are: I don't eat protein bars all the time, I am eating 3 meals a day and am not hungry, I've cut out snacking, I don't mindlessly eat chips or had chips at all, food prepping hasn't been too bad...lol, and I'm noticing less inflammation.

Iam learning that I can’t expect perfection from myself. I know it will get easier as I develop habits, slowly but surely, by remaining present. Thank you, Kelly Dunlap, for reminding me to be aware of patterns that do not serve me well!

Thank you Kelly! I officially starting working out again. Daily walks, I pulled out my weights and I’m using them daily. FINALLY made it to OTF this weekend so I’m back on track!! You and THIS group is exactly the accountability and encouragement  that I needed. So grateful!!

I’m seeing progress in my self talk. Telling myself I don’t need all the junk I ate before as it’s making me unhealthy. And when I do screw up, which has happened very little this past week, I’m saying it’s ok let’s get back on track.

It’s been a great week! I’m down a few lbs. Stomach bloat way down. Lots of energy! Proud of myself for choosing better foods and not thinking I need a snack/treat a few times a day. My sugar cravings are gone!!!

I’m definitely feeling better! Down 2 lbs in this 3 wks, but since walking I’m down 7lbs. I know I have to continue to work! I’ve lost 4.75” overall in 3 wks. I achieved my goal of getting more tone and feeling better! Thank you Kelly Dunlap for offering this!

I’m thrilled that in just a week I’m feel so much better. Most of my joint pain has subsided. My energy level has increased. I’m down a few pounds on the scale, my clothes aren’t as tight & my mood is so much better. I think I’m even dealing with stress better.

I have improved my relationship with food by smelling and chewing every bite which allows me to enjoy and savour every bit. This makes me more mindful and aware of how much I am consuming, reducing my stress and encouraging better choices.

I'm definitely eating better and conscious about working out. I joined a gym today and will have a personal trainer for 3 months starting Monday. I prepared my meals for the weekend because I have to work both days and purchased more fruit and veggies this past week than ever before!! Have more energy but still working on a good sleep routine.

My win this week is that I viewed the weekend just like any other weekday. With this shift in thinking the scale was lower on Monday morning than it was on Friday morning. Say what?!?!
